Wow! Ok. Video, 4K, 4min. 2020 (Headphones Recommended) In driving around the open spaces of the Midwest, I’ve become accustomed to the sight of fields filled with giant windmills, as far as the eye can see, but seemingly further than the ear can hear. Each rotates at its own speed relative to the other, but are forever looped together in my plane of vision; in an odd way, they evoke both the wonder of ingenuity and the banality of life. In my film Wow! Ok., I sought to imbue their movement with consciousness and voice. As each blade passes its pole, these windmills speak about the achievements of the 21st century and my own bored wonder at it all. Wow! Okay.
